Learning

explored and also serve as a source of great fun and enjoyment.
Below, the Young Skeptics Program will be compiling a variety
of activities that may provide worthwhile content for learning
programs and family projects.

for and by our imaginations. Without ruining the
excitement and magic of imaginary worlds, the Young
Skeptics Program explores the many people, places
and things to be found in the lands of make-believe,
compares fantasy with reality, promotes skepticism
and critical inquiry and has a wonderfully fun time!

The
Internet is home to both reliable and questionable information.
To raise awareness about the skeptical resources that
are available, to promote learning and critical inquiry,
and to create an activity for all ages that is both fun
and educational, Skeptical Scavenger Hunts will
include several different online scavenger hunts for web
surfers of all ages. To see what we have created already

Travel
Adventures
We
can't afford to go to all of the interesting places around
the world but through the Internet we can learn a lot
about different areas and travel destinations. We can
even explore imaginary places! Many destinations - both
real and fictional - have paranormal stories associated
with them and by exploring these sites, young people can
learn and enjoy through virtual travel adventures. Click

Explore
Ancient Mythologies
Through
the exploration of ancient mythologies, young people have
the opportunity to learn what purpose myths have served
through the ages and what characteristics and fantastical
elements make-up the many myths and legends that have
circulated throughout human history. Comparisons can also
be made between ancient mythologies and popular paranormal

Profiles
By
researching prominent skeptics and paranormal personalities,
the factors that influence an individual's belief system,
and those that may help or hinder the development of skepticism
and critical inquiry, can be recognized and explored further.
