EXPERIMENT

Make the Earth move under your feet!

Hold a baseball bat on the floor with the handle up. Rest your forehead on the top of the handle and walk around the bat several times keeping your head in this position. Now stand up and check out how you feel. Dizzy? Your sense of balance is affected by fluid in the canals of your inner ear. When you spin around with your head up, the fluid moves in one direction but when your head is in another position, you create all kinds of motion. With your head resting on the bat's handle and then straightening up after you've moved in a circle everything seems to be tilting and spinning.
