EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH
Adopt-A-Library:
Skeptical Inquirer is the flagship journal for the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal (CSICOP) and a leading voice for science and reason. Currently S.I. is used in several educational programs and incorporated into college and high school curricula. We would like Skeptical Inquirer to be available at all major libraries in North America - including college and universities libraries. We need your help in this effort. If you are interested in helping to develop a presence for science, skepticism and critical inquiry at a college, university of high school campus in your area, please consider making a donation to this effort. Outreach Efforts in Development:University Department Displays
We will be working with faculty and student groups to coordinate displays and exhibits in college and university departments and other campus outlets. If you are interested in participating and/or helping in our efforts, please contact us.
Local School Presentations
In coordination with the Young Skeptics Program and with the participation of educators and faculty across North America, we are developing a program that will enable student and local groups to visit area schools and provide presentations, activities and field trips to elementary and secondary school classes.
