Image DREAMS
Dreams have been considered an anomaly since the dawn of the human species. The significance of dreams was studied and popularized by Sigmund Freud and expanded upon by Carl Jung. Dream therapy became one of many alternative treatments used in psychoanalysis and is still very popular today - especially within the new age movement. Dreams are thought to hold a key to the unconscious or subconscious areas of the human mind and through analyzing dreams, people believe they will learn secrets about themselves that for some reason or another they are trying to suppress. Problems, phobias, and other mental and emotional disorders are claimed to be cured through dream therapy.
