Image EVIL EYE
Many cultures through history have spoken of a "malevolent stare" commonly called the evil eye. A popular reference to the evil eye is found in the Biblical phrase, "From within, out of the heart of man, proceed evil thoughtsan evil eye" (Mark vii). It was believed that along with an evil stare, humans could pass along bad luck to one another. No evidence exists for "special powers" associated with the human eye.
