Image THERAPEUTIC TOUCH
Therapeutic touch practitioners claim to be able to heal the body by placing their hands either directly on the area or at a short distance from the area that is the cause of the health problem. These ideas may also be mixed with others - such as the concept of chi or the chakras - so that the original diagnosis is questionable and the area of the body thought to be the source of the problem is based on false premises. Practitioners may also claim that a simple movement of the healer's hands over or atop the body will heal the ailment - no matter what or where it's origin.
