Image CAYCE, EDGAR
Edgar Cayce died in 1945 and was known by several "nicknames" such as "The Sleeping Prophet" and "America's Miracle Man." Cayce claimed to possess mystical powers. When called upon, Cayce would induce himself into a trance state which would, according to Cayce, produce information, answers, and solutions from "beyond." He gave advice on medical treatments, prophetic warnings, past-life experiences and much more. The Edgar Cayce Association of Research and Enlightenment continues today.
