Image FISHFALLS
Curious things besides rain fall as showers from the sky. The most common animals to fall in large amounts are fish. Strangely, the fish may be of the same size or species. There were over 80 reports of fish falls around the world in the 1900’s.
Reports tell that the fish fall along with rain and cover an oblong area of local ground. The fish come down in different conditions - fresh, frozen, live or dead (in some cases, apparently dead for quite a while). How do weather scientists account for these anomalous rain showers? In some instances, observations of waterspouts or strong weather disturbances are correlated to a fish fall. Sometimes not.
Paranormal explanations might be given such as a gravity-less sea in the sky or teleportation. However, while the atmosphere still holds many mysteries, showers of fish likely have a natural explanation rather than a supernatural one.
