Image MONEYFALLS
On a handful of occasions, people have reported coins and paper money fallen from the sky. Of all the strange things noted to fall from the sky, money is obviously the most desirable. Don’t we all wish money just fell down on us? But are these accounts valid?
It would be unusual, but not supernatural, to imagine that a tornado or whirlwind could propel objects into the sky and dump them on a different location and on the heads of surprised observers. It’s certainly possible that this is the mechanism for strange showers. However, in the case of moneyfalls, there are so few accounts, none of which were investigated thoroughly, that we have reason to doubt their occurrence. But, it sure did make for a good local story.
