Image CONFIRMATION BIAS
Looking for an expected outcome that confirms what you already believed to be true. Many people tend to accept only that information and evidence that supports their preconceived ideas and may ignore other important data that goes against their ideas. This places your conclusions at risk of being incorrect because you are allowing your presumptions to dictate your examination of the facts and are not taking all information into account when drawing your conclusion.
