THE YOUNG SKEPTICS PROGRAM
TRAVEL ADVENTURES

Skeptics are some of the most active sightseers around. This is partly because of their great wonder and interest in the world around them. It may also be due in part to the enjoyment that can result from exploring the many sites that have been associated with the paranormal realm and unraveling a few of their mysteries.

Just about every major tourist attraction has had an unusual claim or bizarre belief attached to it at some point in human history. There are also a large number of imaginary places and real or phony sites that have existed in the past and are connected to paranormal ideas. Even destinations beyond Planet Earth are worthy of hot debate and skeptical investigation. So, how about we compile all of this fascinating information in an online Skeptic's Travel Bureau, of sorts!?

Here we will explore such sites as Loch Ness in Scotland, the world of the ancient Egyptians, the many haunted areas and UFO sites that are said to exist, imaginary places like Narnia, Atlantis and Neverneverland. We may even venture out to the stars and explore the strange places that are featured in Science Fiction, the old ideas about Martians and Vulcans, even the alleged activity taking place in the Andromeda Galaxy or on Orion's Belt.

The travel adventures included here will also provide content for the activities, investigations and research taking place in other areas on the Young Skeptics web site. We welcome your participation and hope you will enjoy virtual travel with the skeptics!

Exploring Imaginary Worlds

The lands of make-believe house great treasures created for and by our imaginations. Without ruining the excitement and magic of imaginary worlds, the Young Skeptics Program explores the many people, places and things to be found in the lands of make-believe, compares fantasy with reality, promotes skepticism and critical inquiry and has a wonderfully fun time!
Sacred Sites & Ancient Civilizations

The content in this area is based upon the work of Cliff Wassmann and has been created in cooperation with The Mysterious Places Web. We will be adding activity suggestions and investigative questions in the future.

Ancient Americas
Chichen Itza
Easter Island
Hidden Canyons
Mysterious Mali
Stonehenge

More to come: Loch Ness, Egypt, Atlantis, haunted houses of the western world, UFO landing sites and more!!! If you want to contribute content of your own, send us an email.
