The Young Skeptics program will be featuring
a variety of contests here. All age groups are welcome to
participate with winners being selected at certain times
throughout the year based on number of entries and the age
groups represented. More contests will be added in the future
as well!

Educational:
Calling all writers! Send in your fiction and nonfiction
on topics of interest to skeptics and science-enthusiasts
and we will consider them for publication in our online
press.
Join the Skeptical Scavengers as they search through
cyberspace for items that work to promote understanding
of unusual phenomena.
TAME
THE WILDS OF CYBERSPACE
Help sort out all of the information passed around on
the Internet by taking part in the Tame the Wilds
of Cyberspace project.

Fun Contests:
Send in your idea of an alien life form that might live
somewhere in our Universe. Contest is open to different
age levels: 5-7 years, 8-12 years and teenagers.
Create a cryptozoological animal with snow,
ice, hay, mud or whatever you can find. Contest is open
to all age levels.
Create a fake advertisement based on a paranormal claim,
a pseudoscience or another skeptically-oriented subject.
This contest is open to all ages.

HOAX CONTEST
For high school and college students and other interested
skeptics, the Hoax contest will outsmart the scam artists
by exposing hoaxes before they happen! Should a "real"
hoax ever be perpetrated, we'll have the resources to
put a stop to it immediately and help others avoid being
duped by the hoaxers.
