THE SKEPTIC-SCIENCE FAIR
CSICOP PROJECTS

CSICOP's Mind Matters:

There are many extraordinary claims and unusual phenomena that find their source in the complex actions and behaviors of our mind. As a science fair project, you may be interested in one or more of the following subjects that explores the relationship between paranormal experiences and mind phenomena:

The Five Senses

There are many ways that our senses can be tricked and this may help explain a lot of the extraordinary claims and experiences out there. Take a look at the CSICOP Activity on the Five Senses and see if you can think of how to incorporate this into a science fair project of your own.

This resource can be modified for several age levels, although depending upon what experiments are used, it is wise to have adult supervision. If you come up with any hypotheses that can be tested by a science fair project, let us know!

Mind Traps
Sleep Phenomena
